Path to Nant Bychan | Nant Bychan Beach | Traeth Bychan This page is in a slightly older format and the photos will open in a new window. I will be updating the page in due course. Path to Nant Bychan The first beach along the Anglesey Coastal Path going south from Moelfre is a small shingle beach that has no public vehicle access. It is known locally as Nant Bychan, which is also the name of the nearby farm. From the path between Moelfre and the beach at Nant Bychan, there are excellent views across the bay to the south side of the headland, from Moelfre Beach, past the Lifeboat Station, to Ynys Moelfre. Moelfre can be seen from various stages along the path in the pictures below. The
final 2 photos in this section were taken a few years earlier and were scanned
from prints. Note the absence of the Dick Evans memorial sculpture. Nant Bychan Beach A small shingle beach adjacent to Nant Bychan Farm less than half a mile south Moelfre village in a small bay called Porth yr Aber. There are some great rock pools at the beach. Traeth Bychan |
